Following on from last summer’s enjoyable Fylde Coast photo walks, the North Fylde Photographic Society is organising a series of monthly summer walks in and around Blackpool.  The walks have been planned to take place on a different day of the week and at a different time of day in order to capture the town in a variety of lights and moods.

When?

The series kicks off on Thursday, 14 May 2026, meeting up at 11.30.
The second walk takes place on Saturday, 13 June 2026, gathering at 14.30.
The third convenes on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 at 17.30.
We will assemble for the final walk of the series on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 11.30.

Once assembled, the idea is to split up into small groups according to people’s interests, whether they are street photography, coast and seascape, architecture or whatever else comes to mind.

Where do we meet up?

We will gather for each of the photo walks in the food hall of Abingdon Street Market, Edward Street, Blackpool, FY1 1DR.

Getting there?

If driving, there is plentiful parking in Houndshill multi storey car park and also where Caunce Street meets Church Street.  In addition, there is parking in the North Station tram stop precinct.  There is a bus stop on Talbot Road beside the North Station tram stop serving many of Blackpool Transport’s bus services.  There are frequent tram services coming into North Station from Starr Gate and Fleetwood Ferry.

Non-members seeking an opportunity to go out with a group of like-minded camera enthusiasts are very welcome to join us.  Look forward to seeing you!
