Wayne once again brought us an eventful evening of entertainment and expertise as he told us his story of “People in Pictures”. Introducing the club to his career as a public relations photographer, and where he started out.
Wayne Paulo, former proffessional photographer – and now member of North Fylde Photographic Society – will be presenting his talk “Wayne’s People in Pictures” on Tuesday 18th September. Walking us through the stories of some the many famous faces he has captured during his career, and how he came to be photographing them.
Kicking of the new season on September 4th 2018, Ian Whiston DPAGB EFIAP/b ABPE will be presenting his talk “The National Parks of East Africa” at North Fylde Photographic Society. The night starts at 7:30pm, when Ian will be giving us an insight into this impressive area of photography.
Once again Blackpool Operatic Players were kind enough to invite us to watch and photograph the dress rehearsal of their latest production, Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
PRISCILLA is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they had ever dreamed of. – BOP
Roughly 20 of our members attended and took great delight in tackling the challenge of low light theater photography.

Alf Myers visited North Fylde PS this week, to give his talk on street photography. He introduced the club to the art of capturing the emotions and feelings in the candid and unexpected happening around us in the urban world.
Morrisons supermarket in Cleveleys arranged to host North Fylde Photographic Society for a clever and challenging competition.
