Results from the 2020/21 season’s First Seasonal DPI competition

ZOOM night – On the Tuesday 6th October 2020 retired NUJ Professional Wayne Paulo, American sports and publications specialist will be doing a lecture “Wayne’s American Travel” he will take you back in time to San Diego Super Bowl and a train journey from Los Angeles to Florida.

We’re a freindy and welcoming club of photography enthusiasts raging from beginners through to experienced professionals. Everyone here loves to share their knowlage and learn new skill and techniques, while having fun with their hobby. We enjoy a veriety of guest speakers, compeitions, tutorials, and trips out.

With the 2019/20 season cut short due to unforseen circumstances, North Fylde Photographic Society’s final competition of the season went unseen. We decided to put together this video of the entries for members and guests to take a look at the images entered. Scores were submitted by the judge, Ken Ainscow DPAGB BPE5*

Our next guest speaker at the club will be on March 3rd when NFPS will be hosting “An Evening of Prints” with Tom Richardson FRPS DPAGB ABPE EFIAP/p. His talk comprises a mixture of northern UK landscapes and African wildlife, in both colour and monochrome.

On Tuesday 4th February we will be visited by Robert Millin MFIAP, EFIAP/d2, FBPE, MPSA, SPSA, GPU Hermes, DPAGB of Wigan 10 Foto Club. He is a well renowned photographer whom many of us might remember from his former days as a HASSRA member. Robert’s talk will focus on his award winning UK and international images, he will be showing some of his competition photography, and lots of work from many different genres.
