Following on from last summer’s enjoyable BLACK&whitePOOL photo walks, the North Fylde Photographic Society is organising a series of monthly summer walks at differing locations ranging estuary-to-estuary along the Fylde Coast.

The North Fylde Photographic Society’s season culminated last week with its annual awards presentation evening. Trophies were given out for a number of categories which embraced general colour, monochrome and nature (print and digital format):

The North Fylde Photographic Society (NFPS) is hosting its annual Exhibition Evening on Tuesday, 15 April 2025. The exhibition will show examples – in both projected digital and print formats – of the most successful entries into the season’s club competitions. It will also feature images taken by members during club photography outings.

In advance of the launch of its new season, the North Fylde Photographic Society (NFPS) has
mounted an exhibition in Fleetwood Library of club photographers’ recent work. The exhibition is
free of charge and open for the entire month of August.

Two of our club members achieved the distinction this year of each being awarded PAGB Ribbons at PAGB Inter-Federation Print Competition level.

As the Hallett enquiry into the Covid Pandemic gets under way, we can maybe remember how we tried to cheer ourselves up during that bleak Summer of 2020. Without our usual Summer socials and not even sure about our next Club Season. Zoom came to our rescue eventually, but over that Summer we issued online newsletters to the members – just to stay in touch – and somehow it made things more bearable.
