Coming up on December 3rd 2019 North Fylde PS will be hosting a guest speaker whose talk is all about the art of pet photography; Christine Johnson DPAGB LRPS BPE5*, will be presenting From Paw to Print – Behind the Scenes of Pet Photography.
This year North Fylde Photographic Society hosted the annual Five Way Battle, between local photographic clubs: Bispham, Garstang, Lytham St. Annes, Poulton, and North Fylde. A last-minute change to the programming saw Lee Sutton LRPS EFIAP ADPS DPAGB BPE4* step in to judge the competition.
During the season we have multiple DPI competitions (digital projected image), for which the entry requirements ask for your images to be resized appropriately. In this tutorial we are going to show you how to achieve this using Adobe Photoshop, GIMP 2, and Adobe Lightroom.
Coming up on November 5th, Alison Bonner will be giving her thoughts and ideas with regards to boosting your creativity, in her show “Talking Heads”. This is a talk, through the topic of portraiture, which reveals the benefits of looking at other artists’ work for inspiration.
